北京时间3月31日消息，这看起来就像动画巨制《马达加斯加》里饥饿的狮子亚历克斯把斑马马蒂视为它的下一顿美餐时的场景。跟影片里如出一辙，这头狮子从草丛一跃而起，伏击一只斑马时，被马蹄踢中下巴，最终无功而返。
野生生物摄影爱好者托马斯·温顿在坦桑尼亚恩戈罗恩戈罗保护区捕捉到这些精彩画面。当时那只斑马正悠闲自得的在草原上闲逛，它并不知道一群狮子正在伺机捕捉猎物。一头躲在草丛里的狮子慢慢靠近它，受到惊吓的斑马慌忙奔向远方。然而狮子很快就追了上去，一跃而起咬住斑马的背部。奋起抵抗的斑马用尽各种办法试图摆脱狮子。它跃起后蹄，正好击中狮子的下巴，狮子被重重摔在地上。
然而，狮子并没有放弃的意思，它重新一跃而起，撕咬正在逃命的斑马的后腿，甚至差点在斑马的臀部狠狠咬上一口。但是经过一段时间的追赶后，不幸的狮子跌入一个烂泥坑，斑马趁机逃脱狮口，这让这头狮子在一群雌狮面前丢尽了脸面。家住美国亚利桑那州图森的温顿说：“我们都站在旅行吉普车里看那群狮子，突然一只斑马从我们之间穿过。它根本没意识到附近有狮子，站在我旁边的一位女士担心的大叫起来：‘斑马快跑啊！’但这并没引起它的注意。”
温顿说：“接下来狮子追上它，并一跃而起跳到了斑马的背上，然而勇敢的斑马通过奋力反击，最终把狮子踢进了一个烂泥坑里。然而有意思的是，另外一辆吉普车里的人看着一群狮子只是干站着，感觉很无聊，就早早离开了，因此错过了这惊心动魄的一幕。整个过程激动人心，甚至比在电影里看到的还要精彩。斑马几乎毫发无损地狮口脱险，这种情况很少见。”
